Zia Federated Republican Women chapter was formed in 1939 in Albuquerque, NM. It began with a short talk on “Why I am a Republican”. The chief reason is that the party principles advocate giving youth a chance to use their “brains, ingenuity and money in business and enterprise without government interference.”  We continue through the years to promote the constitution, educating and disseminating information on issues and policies affecting our freedom and liberties. We encourage women to participate in all aspects of politics.
