PRESIDENT’S BIOGRAPHY

Elaine Miller has been a political activist since the early 1980s and has been active in the New Mexico FRW since 1990. She has been a club president for eight years and served as NMFRW regional director, member-at-large, and first and third vice presidents before being elected president. She also serves on the NFRW membership and campaign committees.

Elaine served on the County Republican Executive Committee for many years and volunteers and consults on many campaigns. She has worked in many capacities in the election cycle and was a paid state staffer on two gubernatorial campaigns and one senatorial campaign. She was a delegate to the 2008 Republican National Convention.
FEDERATION PROFILE

Established in 1939, the New Mexico Federation is divided into three regions and has 20 local clubs. Members raise money for Republican candidates, host forums and other events to educate the public, register voters, aid in disaster relief, and volunteer for literacy programs. Clubs participate in parades and other celebrations such as Flag Day and Constitution Day.
